I kept ignoring this video but I finally watched it. I wish people had said why it got so popular instead of posting shocked reaction gifs (I know that’s all we do on tumblr but still) So here it is.

1) Using the spoon makes it easier to shape when using the eyeliner for things like cat eye

2) Using the spoon makes it easier to put on mascara so it hits the spoon and not your face

3) Using the spoon helps you curl your lashes better or without a curler
