This makes me so happy. As a longtime Hannibal Fan (YES , obviously I’m saying this for cred and definitely not so I can give you history) I was a little worried when the announcement came regarding the TV show. And since I’m a fangirl then my first thought was most definitely woe.
"Fuckin hell they’re going to turn it into a dumb procedural and it will be awful and I’ll N.C.I.S.C.S.I.CRY all the way to a well and put some lotion on whoever-fucked-it-up’s skin until they got the hell out of my beloved Hannibal’s kitchen again"
But then I read it was Bryan Fuller and I had complete faith. I knew it was going to be amazing. My bestest friend-o ,who also loved Hannibal a lot, came to find me "Did you hear about this…what, what, what?"
And I said "No, honeychild it’s Bryan Fuller. I have complete faith. It’s going to be great." And she said "Okay good if you’re excited them I’m excited"
We made sure to watch the premiere at the same time and we screamed with delight and glee and yeah just a bit o’ lust and it was amazing.
And it’s things like this gifset which remind me why I felt that way once I knew it was Bryan Fuller.
And uh…so uhh.. Bryan Fuller yeah…thank you. Honestly I don’t know if anyone else could have shepherded this show so well.
