Body language from post Q&A was very telling. Both Martin and Amanda displayed comforting ritual to Benedict, checking him and rhythmically touching him with pats and shoulder holds, she even did the rubbing back action. They both ended by affirmative smiles and confirmation he was OK. Steven Moffat was exhibiting anger, frustration and need to vent. (Watch the footage in the short video of Amanda and Benedict, then look at Steven) The cast and writers were not happy and used group comforting body language to reconnect. Facial expression, as shown above, also was concern, then comfort then affirmation.
I wasn’t sure if I was seeing things when I noticed that. The one with Amanda hugging Benedict. You couldn’t even see his face and it looked like she was consoling him. =/
Part of my job is to study body language. Theirs was overt and spoke volumes.I’m with Shellybees, I wasn’t sure what I was seeing, but thanks for the confirmation. Makes me sad that he seemed to be upset, but his friends and co workers seemed to respond.

Yeah I said this on the ben blog in the tags. Both Martin and Amanda had parent face on. They were trying to comfort him and I don’t know if it had anything to do with Moran but I was quite sad to see he wasn’t happy. It’s not my place really to try to find out what is up with him but god the looks just broke my heart and I hope everyone involved is okay today.
