So Ivyblossom said someone should compile a spreadsheet of everything that Moftiss has ever said about Sherlock, colour-coding to show whether that turned out to be true or false (or hasn’t happened yet), just so we can show people who doubt the fact that TPTB are lying liars who lie that they so very much are.
Naturally, being a crazy person, I decided to do that. This is the beginning of that, but it’s slow going trying to find interviews from 2010 and so on, so if anyone else wants to contribute, knock yourselves out!
It’ll be a fun exercise, I’m sure, but can there be any doubt how it’ll come out? :)

Movies: Finally, a trailer for Studio Ghibli’s upcoming The Wind Rises with English subtitles. [io9]
Looks like Miyazaki’s next film is a biopic of Jiro Horikoshi, the designer and engineer of the Japanese Zeros. I’d almost swear this is a major departure for him, except the trailer marks this as a Studio Ghibli production in every cell.
This is going to be interesting, as much about what’s left out as goes in.
I saw it at the New York Film Fest. So much left out but a lot left in and it was truly beautiful. Lovely film.

A 7-year-old girl named Sophie wrote a lovely letter to the scientists at CSIRO, Australia’s national science agency, politely asking if they could work on creating a dragon for her. She even included a drawing to help them out. (click here to read Sophie’s entire letter)
The scientists at CSIRO wrote back to Sophie:
We’ve been doing science since 1926 and we’re quite proud of what we have achieved. We’ve put polymer banknotes in your wallet, insect repellent on your limbs and Wi-Fi in your devices. But we’ve missed something. There are no dragons.
Over the past 87 odd years we have not been able to create a dragon or dragon eggs. We have sighted an eastern bearded dragon at one of our telescopes, observed dragonflies and even measured body temperatures of the mallee dragon. But our work has never ventured into dragons of the mythical, fire breathing variety. And for this Australia, we are sorry.
But then something truly awesome happened. The scientists had a bit of a think, as scientists are wont to do, and decided to rapidly accelerate their Dragon R&D Program. That’s right, they made a dragon for Sophie - Toothless, a 3D printed titanium dragon, blue, female, species: Seadragonus giganticus maximus.
“Being that electron beams were used to 3D print her, we are certainly glad she didn’t come out breathing them … instead of fire,” said Chad Henry, our Additive Manufacturing Operations Manager. “Titanium is super strong and lightweight, so Toothless will be a very capable flyer.”
Toothless is currently en route from Lab 22 in Melbourne to Sophie’s home in Brisbane.
Now Sophie wants to work at CSIRO when she grows up.

Hey guys, this is reaper~
Sorry, I should have made this post a looooong time ago.
Despite the last post, unfortunately this blog is not continuing. Some time after that post was made, sexlock disappeared from tumblr. I do not know why and I do not know why their blog is locked or have the password for it (so please stop messaging me about that). I’ve heard from friends of theirs that sexlock is fine, though. Maybe their life took a different turn. It’s not really any of my business.
Apologies to any of you who were still holding out hope that this would pick up again. I’m glad at least that we managed to finish the first bit of it so at least it’s not hanging completely in limbo. I really appreciate your responses to the last post (there were so many!!), and also your support and enthusiasm for this blog that seems to last even til now, over a year later. It was a lot of fun for me and I’m certainly open to similar projects in the future.
I intend to leave this blog up and intact still, and I hope sexlock will continue to do the same. So please enjoy what’s there for what it is :)) Thanks for a great run!
My favorite part was when they were both being all squeamish about who would show the D first. It was cute.
