Man… I’ve lost friends. Friends who have died. Friends who were a great part of me. Friends who I fuckin loved. I mean LOVED so fuckin hard man. And I don’t think you ever get over someone dying but things get easier. I say this not to disparage my friends memories simply to say I loved them so hard but I didn’t hear their fuckin voices when I visited their old homes two years later. I didn’t stay away for fear that I couldn’t take the pain of seeing other people who cared for them. I didn’t start drinking to ease the pain. Nope. No siree didn’t do any of that. And I know we all grieve differently. man I know. But….c’mon son. You know when I did do all of that stuff above? When I lost the love of my life. That’s when I did all of that stuff. Ugh it’s so annoying. And I don’t think the show actively queerbaits. I just think it’s problematic in so many ways. Chiefly being that if one of these motherfucker had a vagina then there would be no doubt that they’d be together right now..or at least the story would still be very open to them eventually ending up together. So DAMMIT. This is so frustrating to watch and just asfdALSKFDASFD! THEY DO TOO LOVE EACH OTHER! THEY DO! THEY FUCKIN DO! DAMMIT! QUIT TELLING ME IT’S IN MY HEAD. I was just listening to some Sid Caesar on my way into work this morning so this is quite sad. From what Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks had said it was only a matter of time but still very sad to see him finally go. A great, great man. Anyone who writes comedy stands on his shoulders.
Sad news: TV great Sid Caesar has died at the age of 91. (Don’t know who Sid Caesar is? You should.)
So sad. Seriously I’m quite upset.
I’ll always remember our walks
For the LetsDrawSherlock Historical Moments challenge I wanted to draw Sherlock and Redbeard from the story of Hachiko. Whenever I visited Tokyo, meeting friends at Hachiko’s statue at Shibuya Station is pretty much a given. The bronze statue of Hachiko was built in memory of the “faithful dog” and Professor Ueno (of Tokyo University)’s relationship. Hachiko and the professor would walk together daily to the station where Ueno would then take the train to work. When he would come home later that day, Hachiko would always be waiting there for him so that they could walk back together. Unfortunately one day, Professor Ueno tragically passed away before he could come home. But for years Hachiko would continue to wait for his beloved professor to return.

"Gave it all up for children."Saw this on my dash and thought “oh, lovely! Sherlock’s mom! So smart and gorgeous! Look at all that math!” Then I scrolled down to see the photo in the bottom left corner. That’s a knitting pattern. o_O
SURELY a mathematician would be excellent at knitting, no? Just think I bet she knitted at least one of Sherlock’s scarves.
I’m a knitter myself, and I’m awful at math. To be fair, thought, that does look like a rather complicated knitting pattern. I bet she would’ve been amazing at writing up her own patterns with intricate cable designs and short rows and lace, and when little Sherlock grumbled about having to wear an itchy sweater, she’s just point out that the stripe pattern followed the Fibonacci sequence.
I’m sure Sherlock inherited his obsessive focus on things from her. So basically when she’s stuck at home because she has a belly too big to move around with she just decided to pick up knitting. Something she scoffed at but soon ended up knitting scarves for Mycroft, adorable jumpers for Pappa Holmes and endless booties for the new bump. And that bump will grow to be a child who holds his mummy’s wool on a rainy day while she gets him to recite the Pi sequence as far as he can.
Shit… now I want a Fibonacci jumper…
And even if Sherlock thinks John’s jumpers are awful, at least he can mentally unravel the cables and chart out the intarsia when he’s bored, because it’s all just math, after all.
And thus it becomes a tradition between Mummy and Sherlock for her to give him a knitted scarf and for him to know the stitches per row, the pattern and which theorem she used in order to get the perfect variety of different blues. Tassels are a bonus. Saves him from actually stealing one of John’s jumpers as an experiment…
And she definitely knits John a jumper at some point. Kinda like Mama Weasley does for Harry Potter. Because John is family forever and always. And when she dies and Sherlock can’t cry. John cries for Sherlock. And for himself. They both will have lost a mother that day.
I look so tame lately. The most scandalous thing about me is that I’m wearing a real person shipping t-shirt.
Still gorgeous though.
Remember when Hugh Dancy was all “I don’t think there is any romantic attraction between Will and Hannibal”?
And Bryan Fuller was all “Oh really? Lemesplain you a thing.”
That was brilliant.
If I didn’t love Hannibal for the brilliant writing, direction, acting, and cinematography before then I would’ve stopped, dropped, and rolled to that damn show because Bryan Fuller is fuckin amazing.

Ugh it’s a fix it. Multi-Chapter affair. Would take ages. Also it’s a fuckin hack move. But I wanna. I dunno. Maybe. I’ve been giving all my prompts away lately. It’s so much easier to give it to someone else rather than figure it out on my own.
