FUCK YESSSSSSS! And it was one of the best scenes I’ve EVER seen on Buffy. I could talk about it for years (and have!) because it was so perfectly accurate and yet shocking all at the same time and just GOD….so wonderful.
Giles knows when to show mercy (and he has) but this was no time for mercy. This was war and Ben was a perfectly acceptable casualty.

The way everybody turns against Buffy in s7e19 is just so outrageous! I can understand that the potential slayers don’t see the point in following Buffy after what they have been trough but why do Willow and Giles e.g. act like this?! Buffy has led them into fights before…and they followed! And how DARE Dawn throw her out of the house…after all she has done for her. I really don’t see the point in this scene.
THIS and Dead Man’s Party. It took me a long time to find some peace with this damn scene. I’ve come to the conclusion that they all felt unappreciated and undervalued, because Buffy still acted as if she was the only Slayer (which she kinda was, apart from Faith), and they were all stressed and scared and PROBABLY DRUNK OR SOME SHIT BECAUSE FUCK ALL OF THEM FOR TURNING AWAY SOMEONE WHO SACRIFICED SO MUCH SHIT FOR THESE IDIOTS. SHE DIDN’T GET PULLED OUT OF HEAVEN TO BE PUSHED OUT OF HER HOME. JERKS.
I wonder what would have happened if Tara had still been alive… I don’t think she would have ever done something like that to Buffy. She just wasn’t that kind of person, and she could understand what Buffy had been going through better than anyone.

OH MY GOD! Let me love you guys. Sometimes I feel so alone in my support of Buffy. Everyone gets all squirmy about her about season seven but no my support for her is true and solid because she did what had to do to save the world. Wow. And YESSS Tara would not have stood for that shit. I love this.
