When I first read Amber’s writings I remember thinking she was this erudite scholar. She did her own britpicking and was modest about her talents. She followed up her initial story with a beautiful piece that is still one of my favorites. She used musical lingo casually and at times I felt she was teaching me along with John. I remember being a little scared when I added her on tumblr. Later when I reached out to her to suggest I could help her with her story, I was sore afraid. I thought honestly how could I even begin to hang with this intelligent and thoughtful creature.
And the rest is history.
