I just stumbled on your post about Scarlett. Neil Gaiman himself wrote on his tumblr that she was dark skinned, and that he'd fight the [hypothetical] studio however he could if they tried to cast a white actress. Let's see your bf argue to that! :)

Ahh yeah well it wasn’t just my bf (now husband) who didn’t see it. It’s been quite a few people. If you look at fanart then a lot of people never knew Scarlett was black british. Anyhoo yep Neil even saw that post I wrote so yeah my bf knows. hopefully everyone will one day.
