For one, I’d never seen that comic before and came across it while going through all that dude’s other comics. I thought it was funny and tagged it with both Sherlock and Elementary because I try to tag everything and didn’t think of it as hateful.
It appears that it’s considered hateful by the Elementary fans and while I certainly didn’t mean to piss in anyone’s Wheaties last night, I do think the responses are rather overblown and apparently they don’t realize how bad the CBS Elementary fans look as a result.
I’ll be honest. I love you and I like you and even I was a bit shocked you tagged it that way buuuut people are mean and so I get where you’re coming from. People leave her alone. She really, really didn’t mean it in a mean way.

And really, I didn’t even think about it when I was doing it, I had just been tagging some reblogs for my queue and I’m in the habit of tagging things with as many identifying tags as I can think of because I hate not finding stuff on here because it’s not tagged well. Apparently I should stop reblogging/tagging things when I’m sleepy.
Yeah hate tagging is a sensitive issue and I’ll be honest I LOVE that about tumblr. I love that people get all bent out of shape for hate tagging because if we start attacking each other’s fandoms then we lose our little happy bubble of awesomeness that is tumblr. And tumblr is too awesome to spread any kind of hate. I totally know you didn’t do it on purpose though. I just saw it before I went to bed and I was like “ohhh no she didn’t” and then I read 5 PWPs and fell soundly asleep and OMG the dreams I had about Benedict and…nevermind anyhoo I hope people didn’t upset you. It’s funny because tumblr is probably full of pussy ass liberals who would stick a flower in a gun before using one but when it comes to fandom we will set off 5 nukes if you even come close to insulting something we’re passionate about. I know that’s probably not a good thing and yet…I love us.
