Whenever I have to spend my day in meetings I just think “So yeah this is punishment for something”.
There is a sin of which I am guilty and that is why I am stuck in this horrible office meeting talking about random crap that means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.
And I think and I think about that sin and what it must be and finally I realized today…it’s sloth.
Because if I was more diligent with my writing career , which has gotten ASSLOADS (that’s right loads of ass) of good feedback, then I wouldn’t be here.
I can write well.
And when I sit my dumb ass down and write a scene then you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference between mine and something that is on the air and yet…..
I sit in my meetings and I think “Why am I stuck in this horrible office meeting talking about random crap that means absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things”?
