I’ve had a fuckin week. Seriously. It’s been down, up, down, up, down, up down, down, down, up, UP, , super UP, down. So last night I blew off some steam. And of course because my body REFUSES to let me ever sleep off a night of alcohol, I ended up waking up at 10 am after going to bed at 6am. So I’m moody and depressed because of that. I call up my boyfriend (my LDR boyfriend because I had to be all stupid and move to NY) and I’m crying and he’s busy and finally I decide fuck it I’ll just go to work since I promised anyway.
After work i decide that retail therapy is where it’s at…only to find that all the things I want are just way too expensive.so dejected I leave and head home and…..there I find….

And you don’t understand how nuts that is. Because I put in a change of address 8 fuckin’ weeks ago and it never went through. And not only that but I put it to an entirely different address. I have NO idea how it happened but it was The Doctor Who issue which I desperately wanted the paper version(I know I have the e-version but there’s just something about touching it).
I just looked down at it in the mailbox and I said “oh my god” then sniffled a little because The Doctor/EW just made my fuckin’ day.
And I have such a long and lovely history with EW that I’ll write about one day…being a kid in a pre-internet world in Podunk, Arkansas and how EW was such a lifeline but that’s a story for another time…for now I’ll say….
Neato. Yay EW. Yay The Doctor. Yay.
