A deadjournal entry....in which rambling occurs because that's what deadjournal entries do!

This is going to ramble like a deadjournal entry (or livejournal entry if you were from the other side of the net).

I want to watch something to try and go to sleep.

Something comforting because my mind is all a jumble

technically today I got a promotion

but since all the money and the full definition “has yet to be decided in scope” then I’m a little worried and weirded out by the whole thing

And I’m losing my boss

She is being demoted

And I liked my boss

I really liked my boss

Which is rare for me

And I liked my schedule

And I liked the people I directly worked wither

Either way things are in flux so It’s scary

When you have an email, then company wide conference call, then meeting no matter what the good news is for 1 or 2 people and even if you’re one of those 1 or 2 people then you still feel an unease because things are changing

In essence we are being downsized

The company made some stupid decisions

And it’s cylical

It’s just scary because ya know it’s hard to find the positives in “being downsized” because even if technically I’m being promoted who knows what could happen next.

And it was like what 6 years ago that they closed this entire area down for good.

But then again this is a little different

Because this is based on a business need change

Not entirely based on less business.

Because we opened up a whole new center just to cover all the work

But there wasn’t as much work for a whole new center but it’s hard to explain

But technically I got a promotion

But there is a feeling of unease at work

And so it rubs off on you

And it gets scary

Because there are a million ways things can go wrong

So I want to watch something
