No Hobbit was ever built to be any sort of warrior. Half the height of an Elf, half the breadth of a Dwarf, surely no armour in the ancient Ereborian hoard will fit a Halfling Hobbit. But Bilbo is about to receive the greatest gift from a king that any warrior could be given: a mailshirt of pure mithril that Thorin has chosen for him from the ancient hoard.
In the Second Age, Dwarf miners hit a seam containing an unknown metal way down deep inside the mountain’s roots. That seem turned out to be of mithril, a metallic substance said to be as light as feathers yet as hard as the scales of a dragon, and although it can be beaten like copper it can still turn the hardest blade. It is amour fit for a prince, fit for a hero; and Bilbo has already prove himself more than worthy of the gift.

remember when the crew of red dwarf went to an alternate universe where the roles of men and women were reversed and they met their female counterparts
My aunt: I honestly think it's a bad career move for a male actor to take on a gay role. I mean what woman wants to imagine the actor she finds attractive having sex with another guy?
Me: *continues laughing for a thousand years*
“Many reviewers have cited how “Jupiter Ascending” comes across like an adaptation of a comic-book series or franchise sequel that only the Wachowskis know exist. “When Caine Wise first appears in this movie, it really does feel like the film wants you to think, Ah, yes, my favorite character, Caine Wise. How we’ve grown with you over the years. I hope you succeed again, old friend,” Mike Ryan wrote for Uproxx.”
I’d like to encourage all my favorite authors to stop writing. Just don’t update my favorite fics while I’m away. It would be torture. I mean technically I get Sundays off but let’s be honest that will be full of PWPs so I get my fix but anyhoo….giving up fanfic for Lent. Ooof.
I support your right to do this, I do, but… wow. My first thought was ‘she’s insane!’ and then I chastised myself and shook my head in wonder. If you can do this? Hot damn, you’re mighty. ^5
Well I get Sundays off. In the past I didn’t take those but this time around oh yes I will. This morning I woke up ready to read and nope.
