WGN America has given a series order to “Underground,” a slavery era-set drama revolving around the Underground Railroad. Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Aldis Hodge and Christopher Meloni star in the Sony Pictures TV and Tribune Studios production about a group of slaves who aim to travel 600 miles to escape from a Georgia plantation.
