So, plot twist: Season 3 of Sherlock begins with John and Mary in their house, with their youngest child in the crib. Mary goes to check on him and sees Sherlock standing over his cot, a scream is heard. John rushes upstairs to see Mary burning on the ceiling of the nursery.
