I wonder did Buffy ever hone her slayer powers to “feel” the vampires like Giles implied she could in “Welcome to the Hellmouth.”
Oh wait *snort* she felt some vampires alright. She felt their vampeens.
Okay back to the question at hand. She obviously got more in touch with her visions and what not but all the other slayer senses? Dunno. (Will need to see what was said in season five post Dracula meeting). We saw in Fray that obviously when it’s concentrated that you get quite a different experience. I think she ended up simply learning her own way -fashion choices, location, etc. And that’s pretty cool if that is what happened. She made her own way in the slayer line. And , of course, she lasted so much longer because of it. I like that Giles ended up learning from her as much as she learned from him.
Dear God we are all so fuckin lucky that Joss Whedon helmed this show. I think of it under other guidance and I just cringe.
