I really like Edgar Wright but I kinda hate this dickbag behind the video because it does come down to personal style and taste. That’s really it. Edgar Wright has a particular style but also some people find his way of shooting to be very jarring and stylistically lazy. Cut, Cut, Cut. Frame. Go! So really it comes down to a lot of factors. Also fuck you very much dude because good dialogue based movies where all they do is sit around and talk lots of time is brilliant. You get things like Clerks out of that style. Of course some could say that was due to budget constraints and more rude people might say it comes down to the lack of vision of the director but we got an amazing movie that still stands up to this day. And that is just one example. The easiest example. Don’t make me pull Woody out of my pocket. Again personal style and personal taste. Blah.
