This horrible fanfic! This HORRIBLE fanfic has given me a clearer understanding of cutting/self-infliction than I’ve ever had before.

And this section is written really well.
If writing about a subject they understand, I truly think everyone can be a good writer.
tonight I can write the saddest lines
10 years after the show is off the air (yeah let that shit roll over in your mind) and I am still debating Spuffy V Bangel. This is a debate that existed before people knew what OTPs were and really , imho, it’s the most hotly debated OTP argument of all time.
And I….still don’t know where I lie.
I like them both
And I know people will get into the rape thing
And the murdering thing
And all the things
But at the core of it Both Spike and Angel love Buffy
But which of them is her true match?
Can’t she have both?
You can’t ignore the ugly side of their relationships, but I think that’s why they’re so enduring. They’re complicated and painful and beautiful and real and THAT is why people are still arguing about this a decade later.
I completely agree. It’s the ugly side of their beautiful relationships that keeps people talking. Neither of them are perfect and yet…they’re wonderful.

Yes, this is my work.
I know people mistake it for official promo image (“thanks” to the many websites that reposted it without credit, and to a British tv channel that cut it and aired it in an ad for months), but it is actually a pretty complex manip that I made from scratch, the only “official promo” parts being Buffy’s face, Spike’s head and Angel’s figure.

i used to be in sales. i never had to make cold calls but i did have to make follow-up calls - to people who had actually requested to be contacted….
I also have to call people. For some reason they often think I’m a bill collector. In reality I’m following up on their request for a loan. Lots of people are douchebags to me because they think I’m cold calling. Sometimes….those peoples loans don’t get approved. I get why people are douchey to people who are cold calling. But at the end of the day the people calling are just doing their job. The job they have in order to put food on the table. I try to be nice enough to people calling because I realize those workers probably don’t have it easy as it is and piling on isn’t really good for anyone. [not to pile on the op. just sharing a pov]

Imagine.
A few people invited you out to a party. You decide after many deliberations that you should go out. Be normal. Do the things that you see the people on TV doing. It’s a typical party. You end up mostly reading a book on your phone and you had no fun. But hey at least you got some vomit on your shoe from that guy who puked up about twenty colors. That was neat. You make your excuses and you exit the place. You end up walking down a long, dark, and winding road until you finally see in the distance— a light. A beautiful light. And as you get closer and closer you feel a warmth begin to come over you. Finally the words of the sign comes into view and you know you are almost home.
