So I’m trying to learn how to draw but I’m trying to learn on my ipad instead of buying a drawing tablet. It’s not good (I know and don’t feel the need to tell me that it’s not total shit because I know it’s not total shit but it’s not far from it) but I think with some time I can probably get better at it. I have a basic idea of drawing but you know it takes time…..Think I’ll buy a cheapy tablet next year for like a hundred bucks and then maybe take a class or something,

Soooo I really debated about reblogging this because it seems completely self-serving. But I had to share because can I just say how incredibly supportive this woman is? She is the best friend a fanfic writer ever had—she encourages and asks the BEST questions and gives ace prompts. And she likes my stuff. Which just blows my mind. I am just overwhelmed by the generosity of this woman who is possibly the best-read fanfic fan in the fandom (that’s a lot of fans). If you are not already following one of her blogs (such as benedictcumberbatchruinedme) you must correct that instantly—she is so funny and smart and she just knows stuff. She KNOWS stuff. Trust me, you do not want to miss out on her!

Okay I too was like shit do I reblog this? Because she says lovely things about me. I shouldn’t reblog it but since I’m putting this on my personal tumblr then that makes it okay right?

It just felt weird that I didn’t comment and I’m not saying it has to turn into a big ol circljerk but I did want to say thank you for being so kind to me. Nowhere near the best read though. That has to be reserved for people who (at the very least) has read more than one ship almost exclusively. I mean I realize there are other ships than Johnlock but I have trouble spending time with them…..

I hope you have a very merry holiday and that you write lots soon and just thanks for all you do and yeah you know it…tonight I’ll be swaddling myself with the comfort of your fics when I go to bed so once again thank you for that.

I find myself doing that a lot and then I’m like ‘oh yeah… Stuff was supposed to be happening…’

It is so impossible with me because I just fuckin love dialogue. I have to spend hours and hours trying to write something outside of dialogue. It’s such a bad habit. I should really spend more time trying to get better at it but fuck it…. time and time again I hear stories from people who write for tv/movies who say “Yeah so I really loved telling stories but if it’s not dialogue then I’m soooo untalented.” These are my peeps!
